Asham Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup large corn grains
- 3 tbsp. granulated sugar
Cooking Directions
- 1. Cook the corn in a heavy pan for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly, until the corn is dark brown; some grains will burst.
- 2. Pulverize the corn using a mortar and pestle or blend until finely ground.
- 3. Pass the ground corn through a fine sieve.
- 4. Add sugar to the mixture.
