- Wash the ginger root thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities.
- Cut the ginger root into small pieces, approximately 1/8 inch in size.
- Place the ginger pieces into an electric blender, filling it about ¾ full each time.
- Add ½ cup of water to the ginger in the blender.
- Blend on the "Puree" setting until the ginger is ground into a pulp.
- Transfer the ginger pulp into a large mixing bowl.
- Add 1 cup of water to the pulp.
- Using clean hands, squeeze the pulp firmly, allowing the juice to flow through a strainer into another container.
- Place the squeezed pulp aside on a plate.
- Repeat the squeezing process with the remaining pulp until all the juice is extracted.
- Place the squeezed pulp back into a mixing bowl and add more water.
- Squeeze the pulp again to extract any remaining juice.
- Strain the ginger juice into another container to remove any remaining pulp.
- Mix all the strained ginger juice together.
