Bammy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb cassava grated
- salt to taste
Cooking Directions
- 1. Place the grated cassava in a muslin cloth.
- 2. Wring out the liquid from the cassava and add salt.
- 3. Prepare each bammy by pressing one cup of the mixture into a small, greased frying pan.
- 4. Cook over moderate heat, turning when the edges shrink from the sides of the pan, about 10 minutes per side.
- 5. ISoak the bammies in coconut milk for 5-10 minutes.
- 6. Fry or grill until light brown.
