Brown Chicken Stew Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs. chicken
3 Tb sp. soft margarine
1/2 cup. Vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion
2 stalks scallion
1 Sweet pepper

Brown Stew Chicken

Cooking Directions

1. Clean and dry the chicken.
2. In a heavy pot, heat oil and fry the chicken pieces until well browned on all sides, then remove them from the pot.
3. Return all the chicken pieces to the pot, add seasoning, and pour water over the chicken.
4. Cover the pot and cook slowly until the chicken is tender.
