Ingredients
- 11/2 oz margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1/2 cup stout
- 11/2 cups flour
- 11/2 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 mixed spice
- 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon powder
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp. raisins
- 4 tbsp. currants
- 2 tbsp. mixed peel, finely chopped
Let the bun cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
