Jamaica White Rum

Rum, a by-product of sugar production, originated in the Caribbean, introduced by English planters on the island of Barbados in the early 17th century. Initially a rough brew known as "kill devil" and rum bullion, it was gradually refined and perfected in Jamaica by the 18th century.
