Jamaican Peanut Punch

Ingredients

  • 8 oz shelled roasted peanuts
  • 1 1/2 pt water
  • 1 can sweet milk (condensed milk)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp honey

 

Directions

  1. Place the roasted peanuts in a blender with water and blend thoroughly.
  2. Strain the mixture through a sieve, adding water gradually.
  3. Add the sweet milk, vanilla essence, nutmeg, and honey; stir well and sweeten to taste.

Tips and Tricks

For extra richness, add a splash of evaporated milk along with the condensed milk.

Chill before serving or blend with crushed ice for a cold, creamy version.
