Genip, also known as Guineps, is a tropical fruit that resembles large grapes. With its tough green skin and juicy, mildly sweet to tart flesh, it offers a refreshing snack that is both delicious and nutritious. Enjoyed by simply cracking open the skin to suck the pulp from the seed, genip is a popular treat throughout the Caribbean and parts of Central and South America, providing vitamins A and C, calcium, and phosphorus.
